For brainstorming... some rules...
Defer Judgement - Just write it down -- anything goes!
Opt for the Original
Vast number is needed -- the more you have the better!
Expand by piggybacking on other's ideas (or your own!)

On a piece of paper, write the following stems then list your responses...

1. Hobbies and Interests
2. I like....
3. I don't like...
4. I'd like to change...
5. Things that bother me include...
6. In the future I...
7. I would like to see...

You will use these throughout the class as a basis for our story ideas. Be sure to keep this in your notebook -- we don't want to have to repeat the process.
